Have you heard the big news? The Hallmark Channel, National Football League, Skydance Sports and the Buffalo Bills are teaming up to make 鈥淎 Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story.鈥
We will leave the Christmas movie scripting to the experts over at Hallmark, but what would a storybook ending look like for some of the Bills this year? Now, that鈥檚 a question for the sports department.
The obvious Hallmark ending for any Buffalo Bills fan, player or coach would include that long-awaited win in the Super Bowl. But that is too easy of a trope to repeat over and over. So, we came up with some more specific scenarios that help the plucky Bills along the way to the big game. After all, what is the Super Bowl other than the best talent show this town鈥檚 ever seen?
Here are our pitches.

Perhaps 2025-26 is the season for Dion Dawkins to finally win the prestigious Walter Payton Man of the Year award. His community service has been deserving of recognition, and in 2025, his play on the field puts him over the top. The only problem: In December, the Shnowman finds himself running late to his Christmas toy drive, as the Western New York weather throws a wrench in his plans. A scrappy group of good neighbors join him on the shnow-shoveling to get him there on time for the big day.

鈥楽wole-y Cannoli鈥
After a strong, injury-free 2025 campaign, Buffalo Bills linebacker Matt Milano tackles a side business. He starts up a quaint Italian bakery in the Southtowns. Milano鈥檚 passion project ends up being a meet-cute spot for numerous Western New Yorkers, and Milano dons an apron and applies his great instincts to a softer side, baking from scratch. Make sure to save room for the cookies!
鈥楤ass 鈥榥鈥 Hounds鈥
A known cat lover, Bills kicker Tyler Bass lends a helping hand to another species. Toward the end of each halftime in the NFL, the specialists return to the field early to get some reps in. That means Bass is on the field for the now-annual Corgi Cup at Highmark Stadium. One corgi runs well 鈥 but post-race, he gobbles his treats far too fast, getting caught on one of them. Bass sees what鈥檚 happening, and he performs the Heimlich maneuver on the young pup to save its life. Twenty-nine minutes and 58 seconds of game clock later, Bass goes on to kick a game-winning field goal. The fans, and the corgis, go wild.
鈥楤illy and the Beane Stalk鈥
An animal-loving family, the Beanes are distraught when they learn Billy Buffalo has gone missing. Could he have been kidnapped by a rival team? Could he be trapped in The Pit? General manager Brandon Beane decides to take matters into his own hands, scouting Orchard Park for clues. He drafts up a list of suspects and follows them accordingly, even stalking late into the night as he shifts into #BeaneAfterDark. Tune in as the GM follows his board right to Billy.
鈥楶ast Rush鈥
Newly signed veteran defensive end Joey Bosa is adjusting to life outside the big city, and he thinks he has moved on from his past. That is until the playoffs pit him against his former team, the Los Angeles Chargers. That is where Bosa really wants to shine: against the team that first drafted him then let him walk. So, what happens when Bosa鈥檚 car breaks down on the way to the game? Never fear: Ed Oliver and his beloved horses are here to save the day, and the pass rush, picking up Bosa and the crew in time for kickoff.

鈥楥ole for Christmas鈥
Coming off an up-and-down rookie campaign, second-year wide receiver Keon Coleman is determined to show Bills Mafia why he was drafted here. When the Bills end up with a prime-time game right around Christmas, he knows its his chance to prove himself on a larger stage. As the snow falls faster and faster in Highmark Stadium, Coleman struggles to keep his footing. But he finds a way to slip and slide into the hearts of Bills鈥 fans everywhere, with an acrobatic game-winning catch you just have to see to believe.
鈥楾he Alpaca and the Omega鈥
What鈥檚 a Hallmark movie without one of the main characters finding a little work-life balance after going too hard at the job? Bills coach Sean McDermott takes some time in the offseason to find his inner calm at the Thistle Creek Alpaca Farm in Elma. There, he sees an alpaca run in a double-move pattern that inspires McDermott to draw up an entirely new play 鈥 one that will eventually win the Bills the Super Bowl on the final snap of the game. McDermott phones offensive coordinator Joe Brady immediately with the inspiration, and the rest is history.

鈥楺B Won鈥
Last but not least, the quarterback himself. Josh Allen already 鈥 a farm boy turned local legend, the leading man who gets the girl along the way. The reigning MVP puts on a show at Hallmark 鈥 er, Highmark 鈥 Stadium this season. But back in the offseason, he almost causes a rift within his own team when his wedding invites get lost in the mail. Luckily, Roderick Morrow 鈥 鈥淪lick Rick,鈥 the Bills鈥 beloved mailroom employee 鈥 is there to solve the snafu. Allen scores the ultimate prize 鈥 a two-ring year, with his teammates and Hailee Steinfeld beside him every step of the way.
