You've probably seen a lot of stories explaining why you need travel insurance. They concentrate on speculating about all the really bad stuff that might happen before or during your trip. Although the bad stuff is important, focusing on it is misdirected: You need travel insurance for only one reason 鈥� money.

Though I initially visited Norway to see relatives 鈥� three of my grandparents grew up there 鈥� nature is the real draw here, even for those with family ties. It's a land of intense beauty, with famously steep mountains and deep fjords carved out and shaped by an ancient ice age.

Filmmaker Park Inje made the most of his recent trip to the United States to attend the Critics Choice Awards, where his Disney+ K-drama 鈥淢oving鈥� was nominated for Best Foreign Language Series. 鈥淎fter I arrived, I went to the Guitar Center in Hollywood,鈥� the director said in an interview over Zoom. 鈥淚 was really excited to see all the guitars used by legendary artists, including the guitar that Eddie Van Halen used to use. My wife and I are going to explore L.A. a bit and we are kind of interested in seeing Las Vegas and places like that. And the Grand Canyon. Despite all the reports you see about the need for additional travelers' rights, here in the U.S., airline travelers already enjoy a reasonably robust set of rights as things stand. If you want a quick refresher course on your rights as an airline traveler, the best place to start is the current Department of Transportation (DoT), "dashboard," a set of three tables that show the main promises from all the big airlines. The dashboard covers the 10 largest U.S. airlines: Alaska, Allegiant, American, Delta. Frontier, Hawaiian, JetBlue, Southwest, Spirit, and United. Entries are based primarily on each line's contract of carriage, which is the controlling document in your transaction with an airline.

The Japanese author became an accidental sensation after offering his Rental Person services on Twitter (now renamed X). The married father offers nothing inappropriate or illegal.
