The Justice Department Inspector General has released a harshly critical report about the FBI's handling of investigations into allegations of child exploitation. And this report identifies multiple ways in which the FBI is continuing to fall short in these types of investigations.
The following defendants were sentenced in Cayuga County Court in Auburn the week of Monday, April 28, to Friday, May 2:
鈥 Robert L. Khadaran, 46, of Fleming, was sentenced April 29 by Judge Jon Budelmann to five years of probation for fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
鈥 James P. VanFleet Jr., 30, of Auburn, was sentenced April 29 by Budelmann to 1.5 to three years in state prison for aggravated family offense.听
鈥 Tracy B. Walters, 45, of Union Springs, was sentenced April 29 by Budelmann to two to four years in state prison for fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
鈥 Charles Williams, 48, of Auburn, was sentenced April 29 by Budelmann to 1.5 to three years in prison for each of two counts of aggravated family offense, for a total of three to six years, and 364 days for second-degree criminal contempt.
鈥 Nichole M. Dunn, 35, of Conquest, was sentenced May 1 by Judge Thomas Leone to six years in prison and five years of post-release supervision for second-degree assault, and 2.5 years in prison and five years of post-release supervision for a violation of probation. The sentences will be served concurrently.
鈥 John T. Netti, 24, of Auburn, was sentenced May 1 by Leone to five years in prison and five years of post-release supervision for second-degree attempted murder.听
鈥 Albert M. Weber, 50, was sentenced May 1 by Leone to 3.5 years in state prison followed by five years of post-release supervision for second-degree assault.
