Auburn Community Hospital's nursing program is getting a boost in the form of a $2 million grant.
The hospital is one of 13 across the state that will receive a total of $51 million in grants from the Mother Cabrini Foundation, the organizations announced Wednesday. The foundation, which focuses its giving on improving the health and well-being of vulnerable communities, hopes the grants empower nursing professionals, reduce burnout, address workforce shortages and improve patient care.
