East Hill Medical Center is excited to announce a significant enhancement to its Fulton Street campus that aims to improve the patient experience. Duckett Family Medicine and Summit Pediatrics will be combining to form a single primary care office: East Hill Family and Pediatric Medicine. Starting Monday, Feb. 3, both practices will see patients on the upper level of 13 N. Fulton St.
This change is in name and physical location in the building (for Dr. Duckett鈥檚 patients) only, with the same providers and members of their care teams remaining the same.
This transition creates new opportunities for East Hill to serve patients better. The space that Duckett Family Medicine will move into, currently occupied by Summit Pediatrics, is modern and updated. The design incorporates best practices and improved workflows for health care settings.
The integration of these offices ensures that patients will continue to receive care from their same trusted medical teams in a newly renovated and modernized space. The updated office features 12 exam rooms, a welcoming centralized reception desk, a dedicated nursing station with a patient-facing window for easier access, and a specially designed air flow system in the waiting room to improve air quality. These renovations were made possible through an American Rescue Plan: Health Center Construction and Capital Improvement grant.
