Celebrity Chef Anne Burrell Dies Age 55

Celebrity chef and beloved Food Network personality Anne Burrell has died at the age of 55 at her home in New York, according to the network. Burrell rose to fame as a sous chef on 'Iron Chef America' and later became the host of 'Secrets of a Restaurant Chef' and 'Worst Cooks in America'. A graduate of both Canisius College and The Culinary Institute of America, she also trained in Italy and worked at renowned Manhattan restaurants before turning to television. Her series earned multiple Emmy nominations, and she authored two popular cookbooks. Burrell most recently appeared on 'House of Knives', a multicultural cooking competition. She is survived by her mother, sister, husband Stuart Claxton, and stepson Javier, with her family remembering her as a radiant force who brought joy to millions.
